The Orillia streets I've painted for years seem less real to me now. The town around them has grown busy, and working there, interruptions are frequent. Further north, at Washago, Cooper's Falls, and Gravenhurst, places retain their honesty, and the tension between man-made establishments and the wilderness persists. |
